Two charged in Lenexa jewelry store shooting
Johnson County prosecutors today charged a man and woman who allegedly robbed a Lenexa jewelry store and shot its 71-year-old owner. Vergal L. Clemmons, 22, of Kansas City, Kan., and Crystal D. Slaughter, 24, of Lenexa are each charged with attempted first-degree murder and aggravated robbery.
